Description:
At 929 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles north of Reagan County Airport, or 17 miles north of Big Lake,
moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Reagan
County.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
western Texas.
