At 624 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over central Washington County, moving east at 30 mph. It will enter western portions of Smyth and Grayson Counties by around 7 PM. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Marion...Saltville...THROUGH Chilhowie...Whitetop...Adwolf... Hungry Mother State Park...and Broadford.
