At 249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Oppy, or 9 miles northwest of Williamson, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Williamson, Delbarton, Holden, Mount Gay-Shamrock, Chattaroy, Kermit, Verdunville, Chauncey, Myrtle, Switzer, Naugatuck, Dingess, Sarah Ann, and Lenore. This includes Route 119 between mile markers 1 and 29.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southern and western West Virginia.
