Description:
At 314 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lumberport, or near Clarksburg, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Clarksburg, Bridgeport, Shinnston, Lumberport, Enterprise, Wallace,
McGee, Meadowbrook, Wolf Summit, Meadland, and Despard.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 120 and 128.
Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 72 and 80.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
