At 737 AM CDT, The public reported flooded roadways on the south end of JBS in east Odessa. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Odessa, Goldsmith, West Odessa, Odessa Schlemeyer Field, Penwell, Notrees, Pleasant Farms and Monahans Sandhills State Park.
