Central McLennan County in central Texas... * Until 1030 PM CDT. * At 754 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Central McLennen County. Particularly along US-84 and the I-35 corridor between Bellmead and Hewitt, including the entire Waco Metro area. The expected rainfall rate is up to 2 to 4 inches in 1 hour for some spots. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
