* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall earlier today. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bastrop, Lee, Travis and Williamson. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 804 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area and avoid any closed or flooded roadways. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Austin, Pflugerville, Taylor, Elgin, Lexington, Manor, Thrall, Coupland, Tanglewood, Beyarsville, Knobb Springs, Butler, Noack, Blue, McDade, Cedar Hills, Rices Crossing and Sandoval. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
