At 155 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Us-180 Near The Fisher- Scurry County Line, or 8 miles south of Hobbs, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sweetwater, Roscoe, Merkel, Roby, Trent, Neinda, Sylvester, Noodle, Hobbs, Mccaulley, Wastella, Longworth, Champion, The Intersection Of Us- 180 And Ranch Road 126, Gannon, Lake Sweetwater, Busby, Capitola, Camp Boothe Oaks, and I-20 Near The Nolan-Mitchell County Line. This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 229 and 268.
