At 425 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Thicket to near Devers to near Anahuac. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Beaumont, Lumberton, Silsbee, Kountze, Sour Lake, Nome, Saratoga, Hamshire, Thicket, Bevil Oaks, China, Honey Island, Batson, and Fannett. This includes Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 846 and 832.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
