Description:
At 731 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles west of Mescalero Park, or 6 miles northwest of Canyon, moving
east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Amarillo, Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Mescalero Park, Umbarger, Palo
Duro Canyon, and Timbercreek Canyon.
This includes Interstate 27 between mile markers 103 and 119.
