At 241 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near West Sinton to near Robstown to 6 miles northeast of Driscoll to near Kingsville Naval Air Station to 9 miles west of Sarita. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Portland, Robstown, Rockport, Sinton, Port Aransas, Taft, Driscoll, Corpus Christi International Airport, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Bishop, Odem, Gregory, Ingleside On The Bay, San Patricio, Bayside, Palm Harbor, and Corpus Christi North Beach. This includes the following highways... Interstate 37 between mile markers 1 and 29. US Highway 181 between mile markers 620 and 648. US Highway 77 between mile markers 646 and 708.
