Description: 
At 420 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Wylie to Cedar Hill State Park. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Rockwall and Lancaster around 430 PM CDT. Sunnyvale and Farmersville around 435 PM CDT. Balch Springs and Hutchins around 440 PM CDT. Royse City, Heath, and Fate around 445 PM CDT. Wilmer and Mobile City around 450 PM CDT. Caddo Mills around 455 PM CDT. Seagoville and Forney around 500 PM CDT.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
