Description: 
At 631 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 12 miles north of The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290, or 19 miles northeast of Sheffield, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Ft Lancaster, The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290, and I-10 Near The Crockett-Pecos County Line. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 327 and 346.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for west central Texas.
