Description: 
At 813 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near The Intersection Of Us-277 And Ranch Road 189, or 12 miles southwest of Sonora, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of western Sutton County, including the following locations... The Intersection Of Us- 277 And Ranch Road 189, The Intersection Of I- 10 And Ranch Road 1989, and Us-277 Near The Sutton- Edwards County Line. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 391 and 402.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for west central Texas.
