Description:
At 625 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms near
Plateau, or 12 miles east of Van Horn, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Van Horn, Plateau, Culberson County Airport, and Lobo.
This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 139 and 176.
Instruction:
