Description:
At 858 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Poolville, or 9 miles southwest of Bridgeport,
moving southeast at 20 mph. A second are of rotation was observed in
Runaway Bay, nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Bridgeport, Poolville, Lake Bridgeport, Runaway Bay, Balsora, Agnes,
Boonsville, and Cottondale.
Instruction:

vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter now! Get to an
interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and avoid
windows.
