At 754 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Van Buren, or 10 miles northeast of Marion, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Tornado, quarter size hail, and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Warren and Pleasant Plain. This includes Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 272 and 278.
