Description: 
At 115 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14 miles west of Green River, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Green River, Woodside, and Elgin. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 125 and 163. US Route 6 between mile markers 262 and 300. Utah Route 24 between mile markers 140 and 160.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
