Description: 
At 217 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Magna to near Canyon Rim. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Sandy, Murray, West Jordan, Taylorsville, South Jordan, Lehi, Draper, Riverton, Pleasant Grove, Cottonwood Heights, Midvale, Holladay, American Fork, South Salt Lake, Herriman, North Salt Lake, Alpine, and Bluffdale. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 284 and 313. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 103 and 133.
