Description:
At 147 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 20 miles southeast of Henrieville, or 26 miles south
of Escalante, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Big Water, Paria Canyon, and Paria River Slot Canyon.
This includes the following highways...
US Route 89 between mile markers 3 and 35.
Utah Route 12 between mile markers 49 and 55.
