At 633 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Scofield, or 19 miles west of Price, moving north at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Price, Helper, Wellington, Scofield, Castle Gate, Hiawatha, Coal City, Clear Creek, Scofield Reservoir, Colton, Strawberry Reservoir, Kenilworth, Wattis, and Soldier Summit. This includes the following highways... US Route 6 between mile markers 200 and 245. US Route 40 between mile markers 42 and 61. Utah Route 10 between mile markers 60 and 68.
