Description:
* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with
gusts up to 45 shifting to northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to
50 mph between 1 pm to 3 pm. For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 30 expected.
* WHERE...Castle Country.
* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from noon to 6 PM MDT Wednesday. For
the Freeze Warning, from 10 PM Wednesday to 10 AM MDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result. Frost and freeze conditions could kill
crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected
outdoor plumbing.
Instruction:
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers. Use extra caution.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
Drain in-ground sprinkler systems and cover above ground pipes.
