Description:
At 247 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking outflow associated with
showers along a line extending from near Garden to 10 miles
northeast of Evanston.
Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Evanston, Randolph, Laketown, Garden City, Woodruff, Garden, Bear
Lake, Meadowville, Pickelville, Almy, and Lakota.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 3 and 12.
US Route 89 between mile markers 489 and 502.
Utah Route 30 between mile markers 110 and 135.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
northern Utah...and southwestern Wyoming.
