At 522 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Wells, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Chester, Woodstock, Cavendish, Ludlow Village, Middletown Springs, Wallingford, Mt. Holly, Mt. Tabor, Rutland - Southern Vermont Airport, Plymouth, Clarendon, Wells, Pawlet, Ludlow, Mount Holly, Poultney Village, Andover, Mount Tabor, Weston, and Tinmouth.
