* At 709 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Aylett to near Tunstall to near Roxbury, moving east
at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

New Kent, King William, Talleysville, Saint Stephens Church,
Roxbury, Tunstall, Manquin, Aylett, Providence Forge, Bottoms

Garden, Biscoe, Colonial Downs, Palls, and Cooke.

building.
Damaging winds, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are
occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
