...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County. For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 21.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM PDT Saturday was 22.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will remain near 21.5 feet with minor fluctuations through May 11th. The river will experience additional rises May 12th through May 16th reaching 22.5 feet late Thursday morning. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. - Flood stage is 20.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

This warning will be in effect until the river falls below its flood stage. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
