...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County. For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM PDT Sunday the stage was 20.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to gradually recede but remain above flood stage through late Sunday night. It is then forecast to start rising again Monday, May 18 and will continue rising through next week, peaking around 21.4 feet on Saturday, May 23. - Flood stage is 20.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.5 feet on 05/12/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
