...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Washington...
Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County.
For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water inundates some properties and
overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road
inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning
to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM PDT Thursday the stage was 21.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM PDT Thursday was 21.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river will continue to rise and crest near
22.3 feet Friday evening. The river is forecast to fall over
the weekend back to around 21.0 feet by Monday. An additional
rise is forecast to 21.5 feet around the middle of next week.
- Flood stage is 20.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
22.5 feet on 05/12/2019.

This warning will be in effect until the river falls below its flood
stage.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
