For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM PDT Sunday the stage was 20.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:30 AM PDT Sunday was 20.7 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise into early next week and crest near 21.3 feet on Tuesday. It will then fall down to around 20.9 feet by Thursday. The river is forecast to remain above flood stage through next week into the following weekend. - Flood stage is 20.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
