Description: 
At 537 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Alum Creek, or 11 miles east of Hamlin, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Alum Creek, Tornado, Sod, and Yawkey. This includes Route 119 between mile markers 61 and 70.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central West Virginia.
