Description: 
At 641 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Burnwell, or 16 miles northwest of Beckley, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bradley, Prosperity, Powellton, Pax, Dorothy, Artie, and Naoma. This includes the following highways... West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 48 and 66. Route 19 between mile markers 1 and 2.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
