At 343 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Eleanor, or over Winfield, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Winfield, Eleanor, Poca, Teays Valley, Bancroft, and Liberty. This includes the following highways... Interstate 77 in West Virginia near mile marker 115. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 38 and 39.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
