At 311 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles north of Ansted, or 13 miles west of Summersville, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Ansted, Gauley Bridge, Hawks Nest State Park, and Swiss. This includes Route 19 between mile markers 23 and 26.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
