At 130 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Birch River, or near Sutton, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sutton, Gassaway, Birch River, Holly River State Park, Diana, Eden, Cleveland, Waneta, Little Birch, Hacker Valley, Bergoo, Centralia, and Erbacon. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 55 and 67. Route 19 between mile markers 59 and 68.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
