At 245 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Coal City to Welch. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Welch, Mullens, Sophia, Northfork, Coal City, Shady Spring, Daniels, Beaver, Davy, Keystone, Kimball, Rhodell, Maybeury, Ghent, Josephine, and Herndon. This includes West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 28 and 38.
