Description: 
At 446 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles south of Buckhannon, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Elkins, Buckhannon, Belington, Beverly, Junior, Womelsdorf (Coalton), Montrose, Pheasant Run, Alton, Bowden, Kerens, Ellamore, Tallmansville, Overhill, and French Creek. This includes Route 33 between mile markers 16 and 35.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for northeastern West Virginia.
