* WHAT...Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected. * WHERE...Lower Matanuska Valley. * WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 1 PM AKDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will be strongest Tuesday night and will be directed toward Wasilla and the Parks Highway corridor. Palmer will see comparatively lower wind speeds, but still gusty. The strongest winds will diminish by Wednesday afternoon, but winds remain gusty through Thursday.
