Description:
* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, north winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts
up to 45 mph. For the Heat Advisory, temperatures 87 to 92
expected.
* WHERE...Los Angeles County Beaches, Los Angeles County Inland
Coast including Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles County San
Gabriel Valley, and Palos Verdes Hills.
* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 6 PM PST this evening. For the
Heat Advisory, from 10 AM to 6 PM PDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
There is a high risk for heat illness for sensitive populations
including the very young, the very old, those without air
conditioning, and those active outdoors.
Instruction:
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Watch for falling debris and
trees. Use caution if you must drive.
