...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM HST MONDAY FOR THE BIG ISLAND SUMMITS ABOVE 12000 FEET... .Deep moisture will continue moving over the Big Island summits through tonight. Periods of snow mixed with rain are expected as temperatures hover near freezing. * WHAT...Snow mixed with rain. Periods of blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulation up to 8 inches. Wind will gust up to 100 mph. * WHERE...Big Island Summits. * WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility at times, with periods of zero visibility.
