* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches in the Upper Blackfoot Valley, Lincoln area, and Big Hole Pass with 6 to 13 inches over Flesher pass, Macdonald Pass, and Chief Joseph Pass. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph may create significant visibility reductions in blowing snow Thursday. * WHERE...Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald Pass and Northwest Beaverhead County. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
