* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches at and below pass level with higher amounts above pass level. * WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains and Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains. * WHEN...From 9 AM Thursday to noon MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heavy and wet variety of snow may pose snow load impacts to infrastructure.
