Description:
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations up to 2 inches
inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.
* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains and Gallatin and
Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains.
* WHEN...Until noon MDT today.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
could reduce visibility. A few power outages from the wet and
heavy snow will be possible. Tire chains may be required over
passes.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website.
