Description:
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation and patchy blowing snow expected.
Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches and ice
accumulations up to three tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high
as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Hand, Hughes, Hyde, Stanley, and Sully Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 AM CDT /midnight MDT/ Friday to 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/
Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the
ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The combination of falling
snow and winds will lead to periods of blowing snow that may
briefly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact
the Friday morning and evening commutes.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
