Description:
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation and patchy blowing snow expected.
Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches and ice
accumulations up to three tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high
as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Hand, Hughes, Hyde, Stanley, and Sully Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 AM CDT /midnight MDT/ Friday to 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/
Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
Travel could be nearly impossible. The combination of falling snow
and winds will lead to periods of blowing snow that may briefly
reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the
Friday morning and evening commutes.
Instruction:
