* WHAT...For the first Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches except between 2 and 4 inches for northern Iron County. For the second Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 11 and 24 inches except between 17 and 23 inches for northern and east-central Ashland County. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Ashland and Iron Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band and the Bad River Reservation. Other locations including Madeline Island. * WHEN...For the first Winter Storm Warning, until 7 PM CDT this evening. For the second Winter Storm Warning, from 1 AM Sunday to 1 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening and Monday morning commutes.
