* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Additional snow
accumulations between 5 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow
accumulations between 1 and 2 feet possible. Winds could gust as
high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 2 PM EDT this
afternoon. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Saturday night
through late Monday night.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow
will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
will impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds
could cause tree damage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated power outages are possible due to
strong winds.
