* WHAT...Prolonged periods of heavy snow possible. Total snow
accumulations between 1 and 3 feet possible, greatest on south and
west facing aspects. Winds could gust as high as 85 mph.
* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.
* WHEN...From this evening through late Saturday night.
* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country could be impacted by heavy
accumulating snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible due
to the snow and blowing snow. Avalanche danger may increase.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will begin this evening on south and west
facing aspects. Snow may not begin falling on the north aspects
until Thursday night or Friday.
