Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Lake and Kenosha Counties. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wisconsin River at Portage. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Indian trail in Lake Delton area is flooded. Other roads that are flooded are River Oaks Road in the Town of Dekorra, River Shores Road in the Town of Lewiston, Levee Road, Wood Street, Summit St, Conant St and parts of Thunderbird Road in the Portage area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 19.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 19.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.7 feet early Friday afternoon.
