...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin... Wisconsin River At Portage affecting Columbia County. Baraboo River Near Baraboo affecting Columbia and Sauk Counties. Fox River Near Berlin affecting Green Lake County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River near Berlin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Floodwaters are over the banks in parts of downtown Berlin including Riverside and Webster Street Parks. There is minor flooding in the Berlin area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Saturday was 13.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.6 feet early Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.6 feet on 05/10/1960. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim, or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters, stop, turn around and go another way. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
