Wood County in central Wisconsin... * Until 915 PM CDT. * At 836 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 7 miles northeast of Pittsville to 35 miles southwest of Babcock, or along a line from 14 miles northwest of Wisconsin Rapids to 52 miles southwest of Wisconsin Rapids, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near... Pittsville around 840 PM CDT. Babcock around 845 PM CDT. Wisconsin Rapids around 855 PM CDT. Lake Wazeecha around 905 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Dexterville, Sandhill Wildlife Area, Arpin, Powers Bluff County Park, Bethel, Veedum, Scranton, North Wood County Park, Auburndale and Vesper.
